Few
things can be more damaging to your health than contamination
of your structure or related contents from mold or corrosion.
This situation can produce a breeding ground for the most
harmful spores and bacteria, and can thus create an extremely
unhealthy indoor air environment. We are available and can
respond 24 HOURS-A-DAY, 7 DAYS-A-WEEK to stabilize, contain,
remove, cleanse, and then restore your home or business environment,
as well as restore damaged contents. LET

STEPS
FOR MICROBIAL REMEDIATION
- Inspection
and Assessment: A Steamatic recovery specialist
will spring into action immediately following a call
from you or your insurance agent/adjuster. Testing is performed
to determine moisture content in damaged areas as well
as ambient humidity. This will help us determine the
extent
of the damage/contamination, cause of damage/contamination,
and a strategic plan for stabilization, containment,
removal, cleansing, and restoration. We will inspect and
document
structural, content, and related damage/contamination
and produce a ‘SCOPE-OF-WORK’ and COST ESTIMATE
for remediation. Upon approval, our work can begin quickly,
if not immediately!
- Containment & Health
Safety: A containment barrier is quickly constructed to
prevent
mold spore mycelia fragments
from contaminating unaffected areas of your home, commercial,
or industrial structure. The area will be treated as
a bio-hazard zone and all recovery teams will be in full
protective gear.
All affected areas will be sealed and then negatively
pressurized
and then the air circulated through sophisticated HEPA
filtration to remove active spores that become airborne
during the stabilization
and removal process.
- Contents: Precious and valuable items must be stabilized and sealed
as quickly as possible.
Emergency preservation
techniques and containment systems are immediately
employed for affected items. Steamatic will then evaluate
all
items to determine whether or not each item can be
cost-effectively restored.
- Pack
Out: To aid in content and structural restoration, it is
necessary that we remove
most—if not all—of
the home, office, or industrial contents. Contents
will be inventoried, documented, and made ready for pack-out.
Once
packed or prepared, items/contents are then transported
to the STEAMATIC RESTORATION FACILITY for specialized
treatment, recovery, restoration, and then storage until
the rest
of
the restoration process is complete.
- Structure: All facets of the restoration process can apply to
a damaged/contaminated structure (some
listed
above).
Cleaning, decontamination, and deodorization is
performed from top to bottom to ensure effective restoration.
In addition to our patented equipment, processes
and techniques,
Steamatic
produces it’s own line of proprietary—PROVEN—chemicals
and systems for safe and extremely effective restoration.
- Air
System: If microbial growth is detected on a
non-porous surface within your air circulation
system,
Steamatic
recovery specialists will clean and cleanse the
system
using our
proprietary equipment and anti-microbial cleansing
agents.
- Clearance
Testing: After the affected structure has passed environmental
testing, your home,
commercial or industrial
structure is ready to be turned over to a general
contractor
for reconstruction, or to our teams for restoration.
- Final
Inspection: Upon completion of any additional work, you
and your Steamatic specialist
will
perform a final inspection
to ensure that structural restoration is
complete. Packed-out items are then returned and inspected.
A final ‘WORK-COMPLETE’ statement
will then be delivered to you and/or your insurance
provider.
